Certified Authenticity

When you buy a Certified watch, you can rest easy knowing that it's guaranteed authentic. After successful certification, you'll receive a digital certificate of authenticity confirming the authenticity of your watch. Learn more.

Digital Certificate

Every Certified watch comes with an online certificate of authenticity – a digital document that cannot be lost, stolen, or damaged.

Certified watches are marked with the green Certified icon. You can also filter listings by "Certified" to exclude non-certified watches from your search.
Free Certification

Your watch has already been checked and certified by a verified watchmaker working in cooperation with the seller. There are no additional costs for this.

You can rest easy knowing that your new watch is guaranteed authentic, and that you have a digital certificate of authenticity to prove it.

Certifying Your Watch

If you opt to have your watch certified, certification will be carried out by one of our in-house watchmakers after you've purchased the watch. Certification takes approximately 2-3 business days. Learn more.

Every watchmaker who certifies watches under the Certified program has to meet certain criteria. In this way, we ensure he or she has suitable qualifications and technical equipment. Through individualized audits, we also ensure that watches are tested exclusively by experts and in accordance with our standards. 1. Look for listings with the Certified icon
Certified watches can be identified by the green "C" icon in the search results and in the listing. You can also filter search results to only view Certified watches. On the listing page, you can see whether Certified is already included or whether it's an optional add-on to your purchase. 2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
